Linux System Administrator-AccessBank

Required Skills:

 Experience with Linux servers in virtualized environments (Red Hat Enterprise, CentOS, other *nix OS)
 Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages
 A solid understanding of the Linux boot process and problem diagnosis
 Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining services such as Apache, MySQL, Nginx and SNMP
 Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining monitoring systems such as Zabbix, Centreon, PRTG and etc.
 General knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, HTTP, Load Balancers, Proxies, Firewalls)
 Ability to build and monitor services on production servers
 Excellent organizational, analytical and independent problem-solving skills

Nice to Have Skills:

 3+ years of industry experience focused on Linux system administration
 Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related area of study
 Familiarity with load balancing and firewalls
 Strong grasp on configuration management tools, such as Puppet and Chef
 Experience maintaining open source packages and/or working with the open source community
 Experience maintaining large scale Linux implementations
 Experience with storage or backup verticals
 VMware administration experience (preferred, but not required)
 Experience scripting and writing/modifying code to improve monitoring/deployment (preferred, but not required)
 Certificates – LPI, Red Hat, GIAC (preferred, but not required)
