Job brief
– We are looking for a designer to create engaging and on-brand graphics and style for our website.
What is the role of a designer?
– The designer job description includes the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos. You’ll be the one to shape the visual aspects of our website.
– Your graphics should capture the attention of those who see them and communicate the right message. For this, you need to have a creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design. If you can communicate well and work methodically as part of a team, we’d like to meet you. The main goal is to inspire and attract the target audience.
Responsibilities
• Conceptualizing visuals based on requirements;
• Creating images and layouts by hand or using design software;
• Preparing rough drafts and present ideas;
• Web posters development;
• Developing illustrations, logos and other designs using software or by hand;
• Using the appropriate colors and layouts for each graphic;
• Working with copywriters and creative director to produce final design;
• Amending designs after feedback;
• Ensuring final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and on-brand;
• Assistance in promotional materials development;
• Development and preparation of presentation materials;
• Assistance in the websites development and its adaptation;
• Application development.
Requirements
• Proven graphic designing experience;
• A strong portfolio of illustrations or other graphics;
• Knowledge of UI / UX standards;
• Experience with interface prototyping tools;
• Familiarity with design software and technologies (such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma);
• A keen eye for aesthetics and details and adherence to modern trends;
• Sociability, responsibility and efficiency;
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines;
• Degree in Design, Fine Arts or related field is a plus;
• Knowledge of Azerbaijani, Russian (compulsory) and English.
